The mural sketch was drawn in Procreate using a series of layers and colors to differentiate design elements. There were a few composition changes that occurred in the final step of the illustration process.
The completed mural illustration was created using Adobe Illustrator with a limited color palette inspired by the 1970s pop art movement. The Lehigh Valley landmarks in this illustration include: the PPL Building, Leonardo's Horse Scale Model, SteelStacks, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Northampton Street Bridge, and the Larry Holmes Statue.
Photos from the production process. The printed banner is sized at 17' x 47' and was created by sewing five panels of mesh vinyl together. Durable mesh ensures longevity for outdoor display.
